PRIVACY POLICY
At Young Notes, we take the safety and well being of all our members, extremely seriously. This is one of the reasons that we ask all new members to complete a registration form before attending any of our classes.

The privacy of our customers is very important to us and we want to protect it, therefore you can be assured that we will not share any of your personal data with any third parties, without your permission. Young Notes will never sell or give away any personal data to marketers. The only exception to this, would be in the case of our legal duty to share information with authorities with regard to a child safeguarding concern.

What Information do we Collect?
In order to ensure the safety of our members, we ask for the names and ages of children; names of parents and carers; home addresses and contact details; along with any emergency contacts. We also ask for any information relating to children’s health that we need to be notified of, such as an allergy or a medical condition. We also ask which adults are permitted to collect your child from class each week. At Young Notes we also ask for permission to photograph your child. Young Notes also ask where you may have heard about us.

Online payments made to us are processed securely through PayPal, GoCardless (with integration via MemberMeister), Stripe or RBS and the information you provide is communicated via your bank or Credit Card Company. Neither Young Notes or MemberMeister collect, process or store any financial or any bank account information.

Your Rights
You are entitled to see any information held about you. You are able to correct, update, or change your personal data at any time. You are also entitled to request that we delete our records of your information. Otherwise it is our policy to keep your data stored in our electronic and paper registers for a period of 5 years before we dispose of it safely and securely.
Staff
Anyone applying to work with Young Notes will be asked for details such as their name, contact details, date of birth and details of any hobbies and relevant training. We will also collect details of any criminal convictions and will ask to see a copy of a DBS certificate before offering a position to anyone. We will retain a DBS reference number along with the date of issue.

Marketing Communications
Occasionally, Young Notes may wish to notify you of any recent products or services which may be of interest to you. We also like to send out a regular newsletter to our members, letting you know what we have been getting up to and notifying you of any upcoming events or information. If you do not wish to receive this please let us know by email at info@youngnotes.co.uk
and we duly unsubscribe you upon receipt.
Security
We have implemented reasonable measures designed to secure your personal data from accidental loss and unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, the internet is an open system and we are unable to guarantee that third parties will not be able to find ways to access your data for improper use.
