What a fabulous time we had at our official launch event for our brand new, inclusive performing arts school last week at The Dugdale Centre in Enfield Town.
The evening kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony from Councillor Bernadette Lappage who very kindly declared our 'Young Talent Academy' officially open!
After a heart warming speech from founder and director Regan O'Mahony, we were then treated to spectacular performances from our YTA pupils and our award winning Young Notes Choir. Audience members enjoyed solo and group performances that included singing, street dance, ballet, Irish dancing, musical theatre and drama - our performers received a standing ovation at the end! Well done to everyone that performed on the night - you did us and yourselves proud!
A big thank you to everyone that came along to support and also helped to make this event possible. A special mention goes to Emma Rigby of Love Your Doorstep; Paul Everitt - Head of Enfield Arts and Culture and Councillor Bernadette Lappage who also came along to support us at this wonderful event.
We look forward to many more successful years ahead at Young Talent Academy!
